You may not know it, but you're currently living in an AI bubble. You have probably heard of ChatGPT, and you're currently using this wonderful AI tool to enhance your life. ChatGPT has transformed your life, but there are plenty of other options out there, and you're missing out if you're not embracing other AI tools. Not venturing further out than ChatGPT is costing your progress. The sole purpose of AI is to increase your productivity, and the best way to do that is to take advantage of the wide assortment of AI tools. Here's what you need to know.
For many years, AI has been a largely invisible force that has enhanced your convenience, personalization, and efficiency across your digital and physical lives. Now with Generative AI, the power of AI is in your hands and allows you to create new content, from quickly drafting emails to designing visuals, empowering personal creativity and productivity. Again, the sole purpose of AI is to help you boost your creativity and productivity. Check out the following tools:
AI Chatbots. Chatbots are all the rage, but believe it or not, ChatGPT isn't the only tool out there. ChatGPT is the most famous of the chatbots, but did you know there is Microsoft CoPilot, Google Gemini, Claude, Grok, Meta.AI, and many others. One of the best things about AI Chatbots is that they are interchangeable, meaning that the prompts you have created and used for ChatGPT can be used in any chatbot. Also, it's important to pay attention to chatbots, because each new release from each chatbot leapfrogs, which means if you only stick with ChatGPT, you could be missing out on the cool features that were added to another chatbot. Bonus: If you want to try a bunch of AI Chatbots at once, Chathub allows you to unlock the power of multiple AI Chatbots at once. You want to see how ChatGPT stacks up again Grok, Gemini, and Meta.ai? This is the tool for you. It's always been my recommendation that you pick a primary go-to chatbot and have a least 2 for backup. ChatHub makes it easy for you to see which Chatbot works best for you.
Search engine. Perplexity is a popular AI tool because of its high-quality answers, great quoting of sources, and staying on topic even as you ask follow-up questions. It uses a combination of Google's, Bing's, and proprietary ranking signals to decide which results are best to base the AI response on. It's really good to use alongside a classic Google search if you're digging into tricky topics.
Content creation. Jasper is a powerful content creation tool designed for users who need a high volume of content. It packs dozens of templates to help you get started, connects to the internet to find research and sources, and also lets you generate images with AI.
Grammar checkers. Grammarly is the mainstream spell- and sentence structure-checking app. It's a complete solution that keeps your English on point, lets you adjust your tone, and suggests shortcuts to simplify wordy or complex phrases.
Transcription. Otter.ai helps with this by giving you a quick, easy way to transcribe almost any social interaction in your work environment so you can read back through it later if you need to. Once transcribed, you can ask Otter’s AI chat to summarize or find specific parts for you, making it quite easy to comb through the information to find what you need.
Email Microsoft Copilot Pro for Outlook and Gemini for Gmail) will both use the power of AI to analyze the tone, content, and structure of your communication and offer tips to make it clearer and more empathetic.
Social Media Management. FeedHive is a social media management tool that can help you post from various accounts, manage your DM inbox, schedule posts, and do all of that.FeedHive can also view things like analytics to follow post engagement, activity, and more data about each post. It then uses AI to help you plan your posts for when your followers are the most active, along with the right hashtags to help you get the most engagement.
Whatever AI productivity tools you decide to use, it’s important to make sure that you’re always doing your own work and not relying on AI to do it all for you. Remember to us AI ethically, and you should be okay. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
