4 Reasons Why Consumers Should Go With Business Class Computers Laptops
A lot of efforts are made by computer and laptop manufactures to create a divide between their home and business product lines. Most consumers are better investing in business class computers because these computers offer a lot of computing power and durability.
Not convinced? Here are some things to consider:
They Are Built to Last. If you want a notebook that can survive drops and spills, a business system is more likely to take the abuse. Lenovo, for instance, equips a number of its ThinkPads, with a roll cage that helps it survive. New Macs and Windows computer come equiped with Solid State Drives which have no moving parts allowing your computer's hard drive to survive drops and bumps.
They are More Powerful. Since they don't usually have the same design-based restrictions associated with consumer laptops (such as being the lightest or the thinnest), business laptops generally use far more powerful processors and graphics processing units.
You Get a Better Warranty. Even cheap business laptops tend to have better warranty than the consumer ones with a one year onsite next business day warranty being fairly common. With the more expensive models, they usually provide three-year onsite warranty with extensions available to prop that up to four or even five years. Meanwhile, laptop manufacturers like HP usually operate a one-year pickup and return service for their consumer models with no options available for onsite warranty. Same goes for after sales service where business consumers usually have a dedicated team to take care of their issues.
Contains Less Bloatware. Bloatware refers to unnecessary software applications installed on your laptop. More often than not, they are loaded because they are seen as an added value and because the laptop vendors get paid for doing that. Bloatware can carry significant privacy and security risks.
